The PKKP Enterprises Ltd Board is key to our long-term success. The group comprises of 3 Directors who work with the General Manager & Project Staff ensuring the successful delivery of projects for our clients.

Director (Pinikura)
Director of the PKKP Enterprises Ltd Board, Suzette is a strong spirited Aboriginal woman with ancestral belongings to the Pinikura people of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama and Pinikura Native Title group.
She has been actively engaged within the committees representing the Puutu Kunti Kurrama and Pinikura peoples for a number of years. During this time, she has gained a wealth of experience which has given her the confidence to grow as the Director of PKKP Enterprises.
Prior to Suzette’s appointment she served on the Traditional Owner Council with the PKKP Trust for the first 2 years of its existence. She also served on the Rio Tinto & FMG Working Groups during the negotiation period before determination of Native Title in 2015. Currently Suzette is a Director of PKKP Aboriginal Corporation, PKKP Enterprises Ltd, and other PKKP Enterprises Ltd Joint Venture Companies.

Merle is a strong, independent Aboriginal woman with ancestral belongings to the Kurrama people of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama and Pinikura Native Title group and a proud Chairperson of PKKP Enterprises Ltd.
She has a strong background in business and education and currently works with the early years and youth in her hometown of Onslow to ensure that they have the best opportunities.
Prior to Merle joining the PKKP Enterprises Ltd Board, she served on the Traditional Land Council with PKKP Trust and the Local Implementation Committee. Currently Merle is a Chairperson of PKKP Enterprises Ltd, Director of PKKP Aboriginal Corporation and all PKKP Enterprises JV Boards. As well as these boards Merle also sits on various other local committees. Whilst serving on all these boards & committees, Merle has also obtained a Certificate in Small Business.

Experienced leader in Mining with exposure to Iron Ore, Diamonds, Uranium, Gold and Nickel. 4 years with FMG as Port Manager, and General Manager Cloudbreak. Prior to this 15 years with Rio Tinto in various roles including, General Manger Argyle Diamonds, Manager Operations Pannawonica and numerous roles in Commercial roles including Business Planning, Analysis and Accounting.
Strong focus on safety and people to achieve an environment of continuous improvement.

Shaun is a highly qualified Manager. For more than 20 years, he has provided management services to private and public-sector organisations. Shaun’s expertise includes: strategic formulation, business planning, system analysis and operational audits. Shaun was a General Manager for a large Not-for-Profit organisation, a small business owner and a Training Manager for a large Government Training Organisation subsequent to establishing Consultancy North.
He holds a Master of Business Administration and a Graduate Diploma in Business – Human Resource Management from Edith Cowan University. He is certified in Quality Management principles, Human Resource Management and Work Health and Safety. Shaun is an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, an Associate Member of the Institute of Community Directors Australia, as well as a member of the Karratha & Districts Chamber of Commerce & Industry. He is also a Justice of the Peace and a member of the Royal Association of Justices Western Australia. He holds roles as Chairman of various Community Groups and has at various times served on Government Boards.
Susanne’s role is to be a part of the team to assist in and ensure the smooth running of the daily administration duties. Working closely with other team members to streamline office procedures, data input and filing, the team will provide that strong foundation from which the company can grow.”
Robert Butina, mag. inf. traff./ MCP, MCSA, MCTS, ITIL 4 Specialist and PRINCE2 Practitioner with over 22 years’ experience as an ICT system administrator and ICT customer support engineer. A fast-thinking and dedicated team leader who thinks outside the box to find creative solutions to complex problems, persevering to ensure every task is completed to the highest standard. An advanced communicator, able to work on own initiative or as a member of diverse multi-disciplinary teams, utilising excellent organisational skills to maintain precise attention to detail in demanding environments. Flexible and adaptable, able to seamlessly accommodate new situations, learning quickly to ensure clients receive the highest level of service and a product tailored to their individual needs.
