IMC PKKPE JV Safety Milestone Celebration

This month, IMC PKKPE JV achieved the milestone of surpassing 1,000 days lost time injury free (LTI). This significant achievement is the direct result of the strong leadership and an ongoing commitment from staff to maintain the JV’s exceptional safety culture.

Despite operating within the harsh and very challenging conditions of the Pilbara – the IMC PKKPE JV team has been able to consistently work safely and productively with no time lost to due to injury, a remarkable achievement.

“Today the Eliwana project has hit another milestone worthy of mention” announced Brendon Rainham, Project Manager for the IMC PKKPE JV. “This has definitely been achieved due to our genuine, safety-focussed approach and attitude to all day-to-day activities from the team. The team’s outcome is the combined effort of IMC PKKPE JV and FMG working together, focused on the same goals”.

 PKKP Enterprises General Manager Shaun Burgess extended his congratulations to the JV team, adding: “This result is testament to IMC PKKPE JV’s unwavering commitment to a safety focus that is preventative, rather than reactive.”

 IMC PKKPE JV is a 50% Indigenous owned Joint venture between Indigenous Partnerships Australia (IPA) and PKKP Enterprises Ltd. Guided by the PKKP people’s vision to build a strong and sustainable future, the JV was formed around specific opportunities sought at FMG’s Eliwana Project in the Pilbara.
