New IMC PKKPE JV Mobile Maintenance Trainee

Congratulations to PKKP Member Tate Wilson who has recently commenced a Mobile Maintenance Traineeship with our JV Partner IMC PKKPE JV at FMG’s Eliwana Mine.

After participating in the Flying Emu 26 Program in early 2023, Tate has accepted an offer of full-time employment in a FIFO role with a PKKP Enterprises Ltd Joint Venture (IMC PKKPE JV Pty Ltd). Supported by PKKP Enterprises Ltd, The Flying Emu 26 programme provides a FIFO work experience in a controlled environment supported by Indigenous mentors. Tate is one of many PKKP members that have taken on this opportunity and reaped the many rewards.

Relocating to Perth from Karratha, Tate is now on the path to achieving his career aspiration to obtain a Heavy Duty Fitter Apprenticeship.  

PKKP Enterprises Ltd General Manager, Shaun Burgess extended his congratulations to Tate, adding” This is another good news story that shows the PKKP Joint Venture partnership’s commitment to the PKKP people’s vision to build a strong and sustainable future”.
